Amb. Dr. Malami Shehu Maiaji
Ambassador Dr. Malami Shehu Maji MFR is a distinguished diplomat, intelligence expert, and philanthropist. Born into the royal family of Sheikh Usman Danfodio, the founder of the Sokoto Caliphate, Dr. Ma'aji has dedicated his life to serving his country and the world. His expertise in intelligence has made him a sought-after advisor to several former Nigerian presidents and influential leaders. Currently, he serves as an Ambassador at Large for the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC), overseeing the Africa Region.
Dr. Ma'aji's contributions to counterterrorism and security are noteworthy. He is the African Chairman and a Global Board Member of the International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals (IICFIP) and the Chairman Advisory Council and BOT member of the Neighbourhood Enlightenment and Safety Organisation (NESO). In recognition of his outstanding service, Dr. Ma'aji was conferred with the national honor of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) by President Muhammadu Buhari in October 2022.
